“It surprises and saddens me that many people live with pain every day.”
Dr. Nathan Jenner
Chiropractor
My personal story.
At the age of sixteen, I was diagnosed with shin splints. I experienced aching pain and was unresponsive to traditional treatments. At the time, my mother was regularly visiting a chiropractor in Officer, a small rural town twenty minutes from where I lived in South West Gippsland. She discussed my problem with him and he suggested the cause of the pain may be related to my lower back. An examination confirmed this. Surprisingly, the pain disappeared relatively quickly. With the pain gone, I was free to pursue sports such as basketball and tennis; my life changed for the better. The experience inspired me to become a chiropractor myself.
Upon completing my VCE in 1994, I moved to Melbourne to commence a double degree in Applied Science and Applied Chiropractic Science. The five years of study strengthened my belief in the benefits of chiropractic care, which in turn fuelled my passion to help the community realise their maximum potential.
After graduating, I worked for 12 months in Drouin, Gippsland, before taking a position as a chiropractor at a practice in Frankston.
The experience I derived from working in these successful practices gave me the courage to open my own business. After six years, my resolve to help people achieve optimum health and wellbeing has never been stronger!
